A sharp I know just put over $10k on the Sabres. I think he's crazy too but I've known him for a while and he always seems to surprise me with his plays. Probably why he has all the money and I don't lol. Im gonna follow him though and throw 5 units on it...can't meet his 10k whatsoever lol but 5 units is a lot for me. I skim these forums from time to time and there are really three ways to go here:
1. All the sportsbooks who pay to be sponsored by this site get sbrforum employees to create dummy accounts and post stupid bets with incredible stories behind them to get average joes to bet on the wrong side.
2. This guy is just some average joe talking out his ass who wants some attention.
3. He's telling the truth and wasted his time because nobody believes him.
I'm leaning towards number one myself, seems like a site like this would do that. Not to mention their touts intentionally give out garbage picks with little or no reason why they picked that team. Just keepin it real folksComment -

LOL chill dude, i'm not here to have a pissing contest or bash you. But I'd go as far to say it's a fact that this site does have people posting picks and we'll never know who those people are. And it's probably a safe assumption that they would come up with an elaborate story about how a "sharp" or someone with a lot of money made a huge play on a team to encourage false confidence in people to bet the same way.

Whether this guy is a sharp or not, who knows. Whether dmiles is talking out his ass or not, who knows. But you smart guys saying some rich guy wouldn't drop 10K on a hockey game aren't too wise are ya? What because the guy has money he's not going to gamble? Yeah and rich guys don't do drugs either, right? Why did most of us start gambling? For the money? Maybe a part of it but most of us started playing because we know/love sports and love the excitment of money on a game. Shit if I was rich as **** I'd gamble more than I do now and I guarantee my unit size would go up a lot.
I was in college years ago and my finances were decent but I was a college student and $100 play on NFL games was standard and pumped me up, a little older, a little wiser and in a better financial position and guess what I don't play $100 on NFL games anymore. And what the hell does the regular season have to do with it, I think there is more opportunity in regular season hockey than post season hockey and as far as why would you bet on hockey. Gee I don't know because some of us like hockey more than hoops, count me as one of those people, NFL, NCAAF & NHL in that order. Not to mention I'm not rich but do OK and I know what I put on a hockey game so some guy with a bunch of cash dropping $10K isn't that big of a deal.
Do some of you guys live in your parents basements? Get out in the world much? Go to Vegas much? See how money gets thrown around in books on casino floors? People do have a lot of money in this world, it's all relative.Comment -
