Both teams got off to amazing starts but are now struggling. Neither team is a cup contender this year and will be lucky to make the playoffs. With their positive records they will still be getting favored or over valued.

So do you think it's best to fade them over the next few weeks or are they snap out and start winning again?

oilers on losing streak, probably beat up and tired. if you watch their games though they have the puck most of the time. have not watched leafs much. i still believe the oilers are pretty good.

EDM lost in BOS, in DET, and in CHI, brutal 6 gm road trip. Despite the scores, they played decent in these games. Goaltending, Dubnyk in BOS, and Khabi last night were defintiely off. I would (maybe) fade the Leafs and hold off on the Oilers for a little while longer. On the road, without last change, the kids didn't obviously get the matchups Renny wanted and this'll take some time for them to learn how to play well on the road against better defenceman. IMO

Good points. 2-4 on the roadtrip would seem to be around 'average' for most teams. Losing the final 3 were a combined total of 15-6. Can they turn it around against at home against Ottawa (Thursday)?

I dont think its fair to say to fade the leafs since we lost our starting goaltender. If Remier comes back within a month or 2, I think they can make the playoffs near the bottom. Im a leaf fan so i'm biased.. lol..

I'm a Leaf fan too and I do think they are hurting without reimer but they aren't scoring as well either. Kessel seems to have hit his slump after starting out the season at a scorching goal scoring pace. Connolly seems to be a bust as he isn't playing with his 'unknown' injuries and so forth. Maybe I'll just fade them while Gustaffson/Scrivens is in net.

              Fade Oilers hard.

Oilers goalies are going to regress, and the Oilers get out shot by an average of 4 shots a night.

Wait on the Leafs until we can get a feel on how they play with Reimer back.

Fade Oilers for a couple weeks tough road stretch they are having. Leafs will be okay.
