Well, im a big believer that parlays are sucker bets. Id rather throw bigger units on straight plays then waste money on parlays...but if i had to pick, i def. like NASH, as long as Pekka Rinne is playing. Quick is out for LA, which gives NASH an enormous goalie advantage. Tough to pick a second play. DAL/WPG have value, but are pretty risky picks. Id say either MINN or CAR. Broduer has been very, very shaky this year, and Kovalchuk should be out again. Id probably pick CAR as the second team, but its tough to predict with dogs. Thats why i just play them all straight. Sometimes i see a system play and think "damn, there is no way that wins..." and it hits, and other times i see a system play and think "wow i love that pick, wish i could go like 3 units on them!" and it loses. Thats why i stick to flat betting one unit each. I know this system works in the long run, really all we need with this many dogs is around 50% to make a LOT of profit. So its tough to parlay games when your goal is 50%.`Comment -
I understand your logic, which is how you should bet and how I normally do, but occasionally I turn into a parlay junkie lol. I don't play unrealistically huge parlays, just like 2/3 teams on the puck line, or if really confident on the ML. I watched the LA game last night and they flat out cannot put the puck in the net, Nash should beat the struggling LA squad easily. Really not a big believer in Car, they have been too inconsistent this season. Thanks for the input.Comment -

Sorry, dont really play totals. They are much harder to predict then the game winner IMO. Some crazy 5 minute swings in hockey can win or lose a total, its too unpredictable.
Decent start so far today, Stars and Hurricanes winning, and Jets tied 3-3, though they were up 2-0. Reminds me of a few days back when we went 5-3, but all 8 teams i bet on scored first.Comment -
Blah, team i bet on scored first in all three games. Really tough finish with NJ winning the game with 3 minutes left and BUF winning in OT. Jets blow a 2-0 lead, 3-2 lead, 4-3 lead, and 5-4 lead. Man, it was lookin like a nice day with a +150 and a +185 hitting.
Shitty to go 1-2 after looking like a possible 3-0 or 2-1 day.

Wow, 12(!) power plays? Christ. That Winnipeg team just loves to give up goals it seems like. Still a chance in the two late games for a positive night. My Hawks under hit as well, so i was happy about that. On a sidenote, the Hawks looked pretty bad again tonight. Their power play has been incredibly bad lately. It has been so painful to watch. It might be time to fade the Hawks for a few games until Coach Q can get the guys back on track.Comment -

Hmm, havent really looked into this game yet...but you really cant go wrong with a home dog in most situations. They tend to be pretty profitable.
Not too sure about this one, Rangers seems to be playing really well lately though. Id have look into a bit more, but it seems like a tough game to cap.

A week ago the Sens beat the Rangers in NY, and completely dominated. Even though they won by 1, they outshot them in every period, a 40-28 total. Sens are losing close games, but playing well. Rangers are winning close games too. Just seems a classic case of a team barely losing games going home to face a team barely winning games...the home team usually wins those.
Despite it being 2-1 NYR right now, I think im on the right side of the game, minus that minute where the Sens D has given up 2 empty net goals, they are again completely outplaying the Rags. Sens outshooting them by double today, 21-11. Hopefully they keep it up...Comment -

Sucks. NAS under was a pretty decent play. Ducks cant score right now, and Rinne is Rinne. I was thinkin maybe taking the Ducks TT under, but went with NAS instead. Im not a big fan of Under 5's, but then again, im not huge on O/U anyways. Those are tough.
Hopefully NAS settles up on D and tries to keep it low scoring on the road for you. Road teams tend to sit on a lead instead of attacking, so hopefully you still hit that under.Comment -

I like WPG and PHX at home, IMO really good spot for them. Love the value on MIN. I dont understand that line.+166 right now? Realy? Yeah, SJ should be favorite and MIN could easily lose, but MIN is one of the hotter teams in the league right now, they shouldnt be +166 to anyone at the rate they are playing. What have they allowed like 3 goals or something in the last 5 games? Against great teams too...DET/DET/VAN, and CGY/STL arent horrible either.
Just gonna wait to see if the lines move a bit or not. I dont expect them to move much, but who knows. Hoping for a good day, been a a few days in a row where we broke even...its nice not to lose $$$, but id like to win too!Comment -
Those games are a bit too tough for me. CBJ is really nice value at home, but the way they are playing right now...i just cant back them. This could be the type of game where CHI's PP slumps end very fast.
Isles/COL is a tough game too. Isles are not very good on the road...id like to think the + on them should be a little higher. Surprised the Avs arent a bigger favorite.Comment -
