    Toronto vs NJ Devils
Anyone else think that Toronto wins this game against the Devils tonight?

It's Brodeur's 1st game back from injury and I'm under the impression, from what I've been reading, that he's a little conscious about the injury and that may come back to bite him in the arse....

He's basically close to .500 in his career vs them and 1-2 with a 3.00 GAA last season while Gustavsson is 2-0 with a 1.00 in his last two starts against them. NJ definitely has problems scoring which could be an issue.

I'm not a hockey capper, pro or anything. That's why I'm asking so any input would be greatly appreciated ...

Also how does everyone feel about the Under? U5 +115

The number that stood out for me while looking into this tilt was the strength of schedule for each team. Quite simply the Leafs have played the easiest schedule (ranked 30th) and the Devils the toughest (ranked 1st).

I don't trust Gustavsson having seen his effort against the Sens on Sunday. He looked very shaky. The last two games in Jersey with tonight's goal tending match up have featured 7 and 9 goals with Jersey winning both, 4-3 and 5-4.

I don't think too much has changed and Brodeur may show some rust.

I will be playing the Devils team total over 2.5 (-122) for a couple of units.

          Good Luck with your plays

I agree, the leafs are the play tonight. Not only does my simulator show a 56% chance that the Leafs get a win several situational indicators point to the leafs being a play. Most importantly is that the devils are 10-25 after losing 2 out of their last 3 games. Additionally, the Leafs 9-4 in road games after a division game, and a 7-3 after a loss. For the support of the Devils is that they are 18-6 in the last 24 home games, however they are only 1-4 for the last home games against the Leafs. Finally, the line opened with the leafs as a +125 to +130 fav, where now the line has dropped to +110 to +115. Approximately 71-75% of the bets have been on the Leafs, since this suggests that the 'sharp money' is certainly not going on the devils (although note, it does not suggest that the 'sharp money' is going to the leafs either, it is probably just bookies balancing the action). But since this does not add a negative, I feel like the Leafs are the play and I have a 2 unit bet on it.

                                    4-3 Toronto.

Keep Brodeur in, Toronto will score another 7 goals.

That f\*g is a huge loser.

Seriously, neither the under nor the Devils had a chance to hit at all. Brodeur didn't come to play. 11 shots 4 goals.

Brodeur is solid. A solid f\*g.

Guess I was right on Toronto but missed the Over / Under. Still I bet 2 units on the Maple Leafs and only a half unit on the under so turned out okay.

PStrangers, I liked Phoenix and when I saw you were on them too I layed 2 units on them instead of one. Appreciate that ...
