Although the pens are off too a good start missing big names they are now playing there 11th game in 19 nights. I know they have had two days off but the islanders are playing well at home and this will be a very tough game for pittsburgh. Nabakov also owns the pens as does fleury over the isles so that makes it a stalemate. The isles will be looking to correct things after the two losses on the road. I think getting +1.5 here should cash and i honestly think the isles might even win the game.

Good insight, appreciate that...i also like islanders in this spot but the penguins have been playing pretty damn good despite their injuries. The way they have been playing though you've got to figure they're wearing down now...not sure if i'll play it but bol and hope u bank it. DHK, i took NYI before i saw this thread so I'm not biased here but you are definitely wrong about "The right play is the one that cashes".
Sure, that is right in fairy tale land when you can see into the future but you have to take plays with the most EV in them given spread/ML/juice involved/handicapping. Lakerboy is a great NBA capper but he needs to ease off his ego by thinking he can handicap anything by making random bets

I'm with you dude. I don't appreciate his arrogance either, and I've seen it all for the last two years. He is really good at NBA handicapping but the way you can handicap NBA does not transition equally into other sports. He definitely cares about saving his rep on here though - two NBA playoffs ago he put $10,000 on the celtics game 6 @ boston home just to offset his -80 unit or so season for that year.
