Bet All Ties On 10 Games

last Thursday NHL schedule had 10 games and 3 went into O/T but last Saturday had 13 games and only 2 games went into O/T. Though I can see Calgary/Toronto and Winnipeg/Ottawa game having a chance going into O/T. Maybe even Florida/TB and Nashville/NJ. Oh boy I think more than 3 games will go into O/T today.

i ran a system like this towards the end of the year, the last month and a half, and made ridiculous money. i just bet that every game would go to OT. Shopped for the best lines.

I looked into it, and i dont believe that this is too profitable during the early part of the season (hopefully that trend changes for you), however, towards the last month or two, a lot of teams are fighting for points to make the playoffs. Teams will play very safe if in a tie game, to ensure that they can atleast get to overtime and get that big point for the playoff push.

So hopefully this works for you now, but just an FYI, this may be very succesfull towards the end of the season.

Is this a possible betting strategy every day theres a bunch of NHL games? Is there a site that gives the number of OT/SO games for last year? This seems like its profitable way of betting. I'm sure if or I should say when I attempt this there will be blowouts for most if not all the games haha. Ima attempt this either way, thinking this Thursday seems logical. Anyone attempt this on a regular basis?

they have a bunch of trend reports and statistics that I use when I play on ncaaf, they will have nhl stats too

For what it's worth, 22-23% of NHL games go to overtime since the addition of the shootout.

297 of 1230 games went into OT/SO last year... that's a ~24% clip

301 in 09-10
282 in 08-09
272 in 07-08
281 in 06-07
281 in 05-06

Average of 285 OT games per year since lockout. If my very quick math is right, at an average line of +280 betting every single game at $100 you can come out 10,000 ahead. That's gotta be wrong... right? Someone check out my math I'm way too tired lol.
