I donno, the Sabres have looked pretty good this year and are 8-3 SU at home vs Carolina in the last 11.

Buffalo is returning from two great wins in Europe yet they've been off almost a week, and Carolina just gained some momentum with their first win off a good team. Trust me I'm not making a guarantee here hehe, I just know Carolina is not a bad team, and might be overlooked. Obviously the fact that Buffalo is playing @ home has this so high. Still stuck here. CAR can play and score with anybody, but bet against BUF @ home at yur own risk. They're a well-put together and deep team this year and they are gunning to topple BOS for the division crown. I think they'll play motivated and hungry for most of the year.Comment -

Buff's been home for like 5 days now, and have yet to play a game since they've been back...I don't think they will be tired...In fact I think it will be just the opposite, they are going to be super-adrenalized, along with the crowd....This is one of the most anticipated seasons in Sabres history...99% of the fans are beyond stoked - the crowd will be going wild......Several Sabre players have stated they appreciate the owners going the extra steps for the players with the new locker room and all....And they state they want to go out and try their hardest to win for the owner....Originally posted by watertight

Yeah about the O/U - Last 4 matchups have gone under, with two of those @ home for Buffalo. However prior to those 4 matchups all 5 other matchups went over.
I don't think the over/under is the play here. Just my opinion tho. If anything I always take leans for unders if I ever bet totals in Hockey.Comment -

Yeah after all is said and done, I took NHL 3-way -105 on Buffalo. I just can't muster enough nutsack to lay anything on the Canes' regardless, statistically the Canes have played Buffalo well, and kept it close. However this is a different year for Buffalo. I agree with the above posters.
