The Clam's 2011-2012 Season

We just recently got a new guy to work on hockey for us. I hope he does well. They call him the Clam ... he has a very high NHL knowledge, but not alot of gambling experience, so hopefully we cash some begginers luck.

His first pick ...

Detroit -135 4 units. they are looking too much into last season, and because Van came off a hot streak (even though they dropped to boston) the books are giving them more credit than they deserve. Detroit has rocketed out of the gate this season and vancouver has not lived up to their post season of last season.

I was talking to him about about betting the NFL and UFC awhile back and he came up to me in class with his picks yesterday. He picked every game lol. I told him to break it down into ones he really liked. He said Chicago, Detroit and Pittsburgh. Then i explained to him how juice and everything works, so he said he REALLY liked Detroit, he liked Chicago, but it was a high price and he he liked Pitt, but said it would be close, so i told him that detroit would be his best play. Overall, he was 6 outta 10 yesterday, but hit on a few dog, most notably the Avs. Im going to work on him with which picks will be plays, but we will also post his leans since he likes to try and pick every game. Should be able to see what he is made of!

Winnipeg is strong off their win against Pittsburgh, but they will get smacked down by the red hot Leafs, who's only loss came against the Avalanche who posted a 5 win road streak. All and All The Jets are going to crash land in Toronto tonight. No Survivors.

Last Night marked the end of Week 1 for The Clam.
Heres where my week ended up:

Tonights Plays:
NYI +125 risk 2.4units to win 3units
NYI are on a 3 game streak where TB is on a five game loosing streak Last time these two team met NYI walked away with a 5-1 victory. NYI are looking like a decent team, good chemestry, while TB is all over the place and not seeming to work well together. I dont think it will be the Domination that we saw last game, but I am not looking at an OT game here.

Can someone please remind me who the Defending Cup Champions are because I cannot seem to find them this year. Bottom line Boston is not living up to their rep and Toronto is skating well, playing well, and getting Wins.

Win has been a shocker this year. Their record doesnt show it, but they are looking better and better every game. Taking Toronto into SOand posting a franchise record goal 8 seconds into the game against Pittsburgh. Ottawa has been everyones punching bag this year, including a 7-2 loss against the Flyers two nights ago. Win is going to look for a bounce back from the heartbreaker last night, and they have the perfect opponent for it.

Teams always seem to do better at home, and NJ so far is playing better than San Jose but not by that much. NJ has only one of it's wins in regulation and overall I would say San Jose has had a tougher schedule so far. I'm liking NJ for the win but not strong enough to make a play on it
