Can someone explain these lines to me...

I am fairly new to betting so I am not sure i quite understand why theses lines are as is...

Dallas - 130
Phoenix +110

Washington -165
Tampa Bay +145

I don't understand why washington is -165 and Dallas is only -130.....isnt the likely hood of Tampa beating Washington higher the that of pheonix beating Dallas wouldn't the line make more sense

I suggest you put your money in the bank for now.....
Watch hockey for a month, follow threads, read Hockey articles,
keep your ears peeled. or blindly follow a solid, known capper...
But what ever you do, do not try to pick games yourself...
Otherwise you will be making weakly deposits to your favorite sportsbook...

Sometimes you can tell a lot about a person by the way they ask a question, or by
the question they are asking... I can tell that you have never bet hockey before...

My suggestion:
Just keep following who ever gave you winning plays this weekend.
Don't bet money on games you caped yourself...

Just because a guy is new to betting, it does not mean that he does not know the sports. Maybe the very reason he wants to start betting is because he has become adept at picking winners. And the fact that this guy is pricing lines himself is a good sign, assuming he has an accurate read on the teams. (as an aside, Tampa Bay line is dropping and Dallas line is rising, so they may very well have been +EV at the time of his post). Just sayin'.
