Pekka Rinne. I can easily see Nashville winning a 3-2 or 3-1 game as long as they keep Columbus only offensive line in check (Prospal-Carter-Nash). Nashville never seems to get any respect. Not saying they are going to win, but am saying definitely NOT easy money.

Well maybe I shouldnt have said easy money, we all know anything can happen. I can see a 3-2, 4-1 game but in Columbus' favor. Its a reason Nashville doesnt get any respect.... Think about it.

I think they get respect around the league. They have a shtty fan base and play in Tennessee is why they don't get hyped. Their very consistent on the ice. No I'm not a Preds fan haha

Yes, I followed last season. Theyre have been a few additions since last year also. This is a new year fellas. Not saying Columbus will win 10-0. I believe it will be a low scoring affair. I like the under but dont usually play totals in NHL. Im just going with Blue Jackets in a low scoring affair. Im hoping we can meet back here after the game. Cant believe no one here is on the Blue Jackets but me because this is the game Im the most sure about on the day. GL fellas!!!

the only angle that would make me pick columbus is that Columbus is 6-3 SU in its last 9 games when playing at home against Nashville

Nashville has a top 5, arguably top 3 goaltender.
They also have top 5, arguably top 3 team defense, including two of the leagues premiere defenders who can eat up 25 minutes each in all situations.
Then they have very effective, solid NHLers at forward. Legwand is an all-purpose centerman, as is Fisher. They can eat up minutes matched up against almost anyone in this league. Just because players dont put up big offensive numbers doesn't mean they are not good players. Erat and Kos

yn will probably lead the team offensively, but no one should think they are better players than Legwand/Fisher.

Nashville is going to be underrated for the first weeks, they should be good. A stout defense+Rinne is usually going to give you a shot at winning.
