GL this year, thing with unders to start this season is that you know that the league will want to call headshots tight to start the year to send a message. Average number of powerplays is what dictates league scoring. The reason that league scoring was so high in 05-06 was because of all the new rules getting called at ludicrous rates. And of course, league scoring drops almost linearly as average PP time has dropped the last 6 years.

Injecting this new hit to the head rule will probably see league scoring rise ~+0.2 goals/game
