#212I sure won't be ignoring my instinct and taking the Devils as road favs again any time soonOriginally posted by DharmonizeI like the NJ Devils today. Not as a road fav, though. They have still done nothing this season to be favored in this position.
I can't believe what a piece of crap this team has become. So many good players, so much talent and power, yet they're getting absolutely outplayed in every aspect by the Avs...

#213And the Habs down 1-3, it's just one of those days
I'd better accept my losses and call it a night... otherwise I might just end up live betting cricket that I know nothing about

#214The only play I like today are the Coyotes. But I think I'll pass, as I got burned by NJ as another road fav yesterday.Comment -

#215My early leans for today (chronologically) would be the Sabres (not sure about this one yet), NJ Devils (they really should make up for their last underperformance against the Avs), St. Louis Blues (who are on a roll and beat Colorado twice in the preseason) and the Flyers (I expect them to smash the Ducks into pieces in a high scoring game). The problem is that the last two picks are road favs, which is like the worst type of bet for me... Oh, and the Jackets impressed me yesterday, they might have a chance in Edmonton.
Still plenty of time to decide, I will have to select only 2 or 3 games at the most...Comment -

#216Passing on NJ, don't trust them enough right now. Minny at home on Friday night might be too much for them to handle.
So I just put 0.5 unit on the Sabres ml as a fun bet. Will be keeping an eye on the over in this game live, too. I hope they don't score too early, so that I could possibly hop on the over 4.5 at reasonable price. GL everyone!Comment -

I missed your witchery around here
Tough card today, very hard to predict, we could use a crystal ball
. Lots of nice dogs (Leafs, TB), the Caps have caught my eye, but I will tread lightly tonight. GL!

#233Yeah, I like the Devils too, but then again, not as a road fav. Toronto has been doing fairly well this season. Therefore, this will be a game-time decision for me. GL to you, too!Originally posted by SorceressToday, I have New Jersey. Good luck!

#236I'm leaning the Caps and Flyers, but since I've had an incredibly good day in the Champions League, I'm not gonna let either of these teams spoil the moment for me. Of course they might also make my day even greater, but I don't feel like betting on NHL anyway, these 3 game nights tend to be very tricky ones. Sometimes, no play is the best play. GL whatever you're on, everyone!

Concerning the Habs, I personally wouldn't touch them, they've been very disappointing so far, and since they lost their last game to Columbus at home, it doesn't seem very smart to take them against the red hot Canucks. But this is NHL, so anything can happen. I'm leaning Nashville and possibly Minnesota, but will have no time to bet anything tonight... GL all!

#239Thank you for talking me out of betting Montreal, Dharmaboy! I could not believe how Vancouver turned the match around. And your other leans were 2-0 again. You had better tail yourself and start betting soon

#240I know I knowOriginally posted by Sorceress...And your other leans were 2-0 again. You had better tail yourself and start betting soon
but I've been real busy these days. I've recently found a new good sport for trading, so I got to give it some time to learn the rules and get into it before I can get back to my daily betting routine. I hate to just bet something, go away and check the results in the morning. Need to be around watching games, live betting and enjoying the complete "gambling experience" pack.
Still find it quite interesting how the leans you actually aren't very confident about usually come through (I went 5-0 in the last two days and yet didn't make a buck). And when you post a play you really like and feel strong about, it's very often a loss. It's probably got to do with intuition. I've been planning on doing this kind of a research (just blindly betting all games that catch your attention when you first see them) for a long time. Whenever certain total or a team spring to your mind, bet it automatically without any further analysis, checking the stats etc. I believe these intuitive picks could be quite successful, I just haven't had time to trace it properly, always have mixed them with other types of bets so far. I guess I'll have to open a special account exclusively for these testing purposes and keep it strictly separate to see how it goes long-term. I've already done some similar tests before, it's a good way of using various bonuses, freeplays or even SBR points. However, it is advisable to only bet like 5-10 $ instead of your regular units (unless you're a millionaire, of course
) when testing a new, unproven system or strategy, cause you need quite a big sample. Otherwise
. Not everything that looks like a gold mine after couple of bets turns out to be profitable in the end.
Speaking of intuition, nothing's really caught my eye today (well, except for the Avs, but I'm not touching them). I'll probably have some plays over the weekend, though. Hope 2 c u around, madam
