Hi again, guys. You may recall a thread last season (click here) in which we had a pretty good time winning $$ betting on the biggest dog of the day. There were also discussions of money management and variations on the dog theme brought to us by a fella named rkelly110. Pretty enjoyable and profitable stuff.
I'm going to start this and hope we can keep it going through the season.
The rules are so simple a caveman could run the system:
1) if there are fewer than 4 games on any given day, take the day off
2) bet the biggest dog of the day on the +1.5 puckline
There's a rub, of course, which is the +PL is always a juicy bet. If you're religiously opposed to juice, this isn't for you. If you can handle the juice, you'll love this. I quit playing 3 weeks before the end of the regular season at 64-39. The system ended the season at 71-50. It tended to be kind of streaky... There were several losing streaks of 3 or 4 games. OTOH there were several very long winning streaks. Needless to say, money management is key.
So follow along and have some fun. We'll get started on Oct 7, because the first day of the season there are only 3 games.
See you then!
