I picked it again today. I think last week was a Thursday, too. I must be getting the hang of Thursdays.

But I did lose a lot on the Caps and the over tonight. One damn goal was all I needed to break even on the game.

Contrary to what you are claiming, Saturdays are not the best day to bet the under as it is only 3-3 and you actually end up losing juice.

That being said, betting unders on all days with over 8 games has yielded a small profit going 9-7 but I wouldn't say it is like going to the ATM!! Factoring in the juice, you're probably just about even.

Note: Salami on the season regardless of the number of games that day is 22-17-1 for the UNDER.

thanks for the stats skyscraper...when i originally brough this up it was before that 3 game losing streak. so yes at the time it was like going to an ATM. i made a killing off it last year...this year the salami is getting a lot closer to the 5.5 ave per game but it's still higher on many nights. still too high...we hit a bad patch of high scoring games...there wont be 9,10,11 goal games every week like there was a couple weeks ago...as long as those games don't happen the UNDER wins

Thought I had replied but it didnt show up...The grand salami is the combined total of goals for any given day. Sort of a global under/over.

For example, you could have 10 games and a grand salami at u/o 55. Again, this is the combined total for the whole range of games for the whole night.

Yeah I'm starting to realize if the 5.5 has already hit after two periods it seems to slow down in the 3rd. Better off when it's 3-1 after 2.

As the season goes on I see the UNDER will hit more often as more teams will play more tighter and defense will be the priority.

Today's line is set at 66.5 with a little juice to the UNDER. Some books have it at 65.5 with juice on the OVER now so I see the line is dropping.

I'm fairly confident the UNDER will hit with the teams playing today providing PHI/WPG staying away from those 9-8 final scores.

Jagr is out, WPG +.5 is looking good.

The Flyers team is much, much deeper than just Jágr. They have three legitimate scoring lines that will be tough for the Jets to stop. The question is will Bob/Bryzy and the d actually show up. Pronger is in this time, and he wasn't last time, and the team plays differently with him in the lineup. As a Flyers fan, I want the Flyers to win. As a hockey fan, I think it would be awesome to see the Jets win. Good luck, tonight.

Flyers are not a very good shootout team. They have had very good and creative offensive players, but they do very poorly in the shootout for some reason. I think last year they were in the bottom 5 in win percentage in shootouts. Or maybe it was all time. They were rocking a 34.7% win in the shootout to leave them behind everyone but Ottawa at one point in time. That stat etched in my mind and made me hate the shootout even more.
