Same with Howson. That team really doesn't have time for a coach or GM to 'learn on the job'. They need people with experience and those kind of people are now, mid season, very hard to come by. But they need to win, they need to sell seats, because they are deep in the red. Otherwise they become Phoenix/Glendale round 2. Columbus is far enough north, the fans are there, but you need a winning product on the ice to get people to come. Hell, I remember the United Centre dead empty at Hawks games in the late 90's and most of the 2000s.
