As a Flyers fan, that was depressing as hell. As someone who's ecstatic to see the Jets back in the league, I can't imagine a bigger win in their first season back in the Peg.

Dont want to sound cocky, but this is one of my better starts to the NHL season in a while. Been hitting dogs like crazy, and would be up even more if not for countless crazy ass comebacks. Focus on dogs man, especially home dogs. Look at it like this...all these games where you like the regulation bet...think about why you dont like the ML? Is it because the juice is way too high? If you dont like that high juice, chances are, its because it IS too high, and there is value on the other side.

Oh and dont bet against the Pens.

Yup for sure blindly betting dogs has definitely been profitable. Hell 90% of people who bet hockey and probably don't even know who JVR is or how many periods are played and what offside is are killing me on the year

Applying in-depth hockey knowledge is useless to hockey betting at this point when usually it pays off to know teams inside and out.

Disagree with you on that. Applying hockey knowledge helps a ton...but you have to look at other stuff too. Gotta find the value. For instance, i hit Oilers at +145 today. Yes, any random hockey fan knows that the Capitals are a good team, and more talented then the Oilers. But WASH was very unproven on the road so far, winning only 2 games, one of which they got dominated by a depleted Pens team yet managed to squeak out. The Oilers are also playing well, and have been 4-1 at home, allowing just 1.50 goals per game at home. Yeah, caps are the better team, but when you factor in home play and the fact that both teams are playing well, ill gladly take the +145 team at home. It may not always win, but im fairly certain i can hit that close to 50% and make a ton of profit.

Anyways, thats the way i saw the game. Yea, someone bad blindly bet dogs and hit it. But im fairly certain even after more favorites start winning, i can pick out dogs that have a 50/50 chance to win, yet have + odds attached to them.

Yeah man just been game after game of insane shit so far this year. Like I remember this to start the year in past years but so many dogs are hitting. We just gotta hang in there, we will be alright when it's all said and done.

When I'm on a cold streak I lower my units and only make one confident play a day...

Yeah I lowered my plays to 1 unit each and decided to go to flat betting all low juice or +$ plays. Figured a high volume night with good odds would be the solution.

Clearly I'm a bit out of my element right now and trying different thing to try and break the slump.

As I've warned people before, when Im in a bad slump like this it's best to lay off until I get things together. Trust me I feel bad knowing people are tailing me and losing money. If anyone is actually tailing it's best to either lay off or drop your unit size for
awhile. I have no doubt I'll come out on top in the end of the year.

Good advice. I don't handle losing well sometimes so just trying to stay calm here and not tilt away the entire bankroll. Thanks man, will get back on my feet soon

You never know how a new season is going to play out. I suggest just take it easy for October to see how things play out, and when you got a better idea how things are going in the league then play like you normally do. But of course, you are a way better capper then me, so my advice may not be too sound...

It was a great win, but certainly got worried there for awhile. But that said, the Jets can do no wrong this year. Its obviously dissappointing when they lose, but this is just a year of celebration of having a team in Winnipeg.
