Classic movie for sure. It kicks the shit out of the new one with Depp. I blame this movie partially for my gambling addiction as it taught me that gambling pays off as you may be rewarded with a golden ticket

Okay DG, The Kings have rolled through the #1 and #2 teams already in the playoffs. I've not yet seen any odds posted for the Kings to win the cup this year. I will be tempted to put a little money on it because playoff hockey is all about who gets hot at the right time. While there are some good teams out there still I don't think any of them are playing on the Kings level.

Thoughts?

Yeah definitely. They have very high confidence right now and are playing unreal. I think there's a good chance they go all the way.

Until a team figures out how to score on Quick consistently and that would force them to not be as aggressive on their fore-check which from all their games I've been able to watch in the playoffs that's basically the key to their success is sending 3 men on their fore-check forcing bad passes/turnovers in their zone. Besides wouldn't it be some consolation if the team that took out our Nucks wins it all?

Yup the Kings play phenomenal in front of Quick and he hasn't had to really steal that many games this post-season. Yeah we tend to lose to the cup champs a lot lately. Chicago a couple years back, Wings and Avs and looking like maybe the Kings this year as well.

^^^ Yeah Pinny didn't have it posted at midnight pacific last night so I set my alarm for 5:30 am and it was up then

Looking ahead at Canada's schedule they play the Swiss and Finland in the next two games. I don't like either of those for 1st period over really so I'll probably be waiting until they play Borat's country this weekend

Yeah you gotta be careful with those Euro teams. Most of them are all defence first, scoring second. Canada and the US are the only two 1st period over teams I'd really hit up regularly.
