Got a question about the SOG props, figured this is the thread to ask it in. Looking at SJ since I know them fairly well but I need clarification on a technicality. Say Boyle launches a shot towards the net and Pavelski ends up tipping it. Which player will get credit for the SOG?

I'd say Boyle but I'm thinking of how a tipped goal only gives the D-man an assist in that situation so I'm wondering if something like that translates to SOGs. Thanks in advance.

BTW keep the picks coming, last night was great!

The player tipping the puck gets credit as long as the tip qualifies as a SOG (goal would result if not for goaltender). Once the puck is tipped the original "shot" becomes a pass.

Pavelski seems to want to fill the blocked shots column more than the shots on goal one tonight. He usually arrives late in a series offensively anyways, probably biding his time, reading the opposition, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

Yeah he got 2 late in the 2nd at least. Usually he fires at will out there but there's not as much open ice vs the Blues.
