In Pinnacle and under 1st PERIOD under where it says 1P HANDICAP (can't confirm wording as the site seems to be down) and it lists a team as -0.5 or +0.5 for the first period... what does that mean exactly? I thought -0.5 under regulation meant the team has to win in regulation by more than .5 goals.. and if its +0.5 you get half your money back or something.

So how does that bet work when you are not talking for the game but instead the 1st period? does that mean they just need to have more goals than the opponent?

It's a spread for the 1st period. For example say you bet VAN -0.5 for the 1st they need to be up a goal or more after the 1st. Eg: 1-0, 2-1, 3-2. The +0.5 means that team either has to be up or tied after the 1st for you to win your bet.

If you are betting 1st period only you just have to win that period only. Doesn't matter what happens the rest of the game. Dennis Green is a master at these especially first period totals.

Yeah they are down for 2-10 minutes occasionally I find but definitely worth the wait with their low chalk

I'v heard bad things about it...but god damn some of their prop prices are unreal.

I am not sure what the problem would be with bodog... it seems most sportbooks offer one free withdrawal a month. I began with bodog... won money... wanted to switch pinnacle so I had bodog send me a cheque... (cashed out) haven't got the cheque yet but they said 7-10 days its probably only been 5-6

Dont think pinnacle is going to be any better... or any book for that matter.

FYI i began with bodog but the quality of lines are not nearly as good as pinnacle... you can only bet over under and money line... go straight to pinnacle ... they have no phone support which sucks!

I was unable to get funds into my BODOG using CC, so Iam sticking with my Pinny account, used ********** to fund it which was simple enough, and last year was easy enough to withdraw to my bank

You should probably set your alarm for PST for about 16:30 every day and check them. Dennis doesn't need to be up all night capping and I am sure his decisions are made closer to game time.
