its mostly the police fault, here in Boston we've had tihs happen before so before the game ended there were cops EVERYWHERE and barricades and buses ready to take people away and things couldn't have gone smoother

The riots were gonna happen either way apparently, so we can't blame the loss according to their police chief. It would have helped to have gateways for people to leave. People were trapped in a space and it was either north or south to exit, people can't leave they

Nobody died, don't believe the rumours. And the guy who fell off the viaduct was not pushed. These scumbags brought incendiary devices and molotov cocktails with them and were not there to watch the game. They are not real fans and some of them aren't even from Vancouver. They were the same ones who cause trouble during the Olympics and were looking for another opportunity where over 100,000 people gathered to start a riot, so it would have happened win or lose.

Having said all that, there is no excuse for the lowlifes who either joined them or egged them on. I guess mob mentality is a hard thing to resist.
