Both goalies are top 3 in the league. Luongo + Thomas are truly the class of the NHL.

I have a feeling we might be seeing some flat 5 o/u in this series

This was definitely an amazing game. Really showed off the talents of both goalies.

Thomas looked better because Vancouver had a lot of good chances that required amazing saves, and Boston botched a few of their best chances that could've made Luongo an even bigger hero (or resulted in goals).

Should be a ridiculously entertaining series. Hopefully Burrows gets his pansy ass suspended for a game for biting Patrice

Exactly. And that's why this series is pretty much over. Bruins shots on net were mostly easy saves for Luongo.

I'd still take Rinne over these 2, but great show tonight.

Pekka Rinne fills out that top 3, that guy is class. Luongo was flawless 2night,one standout moment i remember was the save with his blades on the crossover pass. That was a goal for sure. It'll be interesting matchup in Game 2 no doubt.

Thomas was unreal tonight. Luongo looks like the big game jitters are long gone.

Thomas is gonna have to stand on his head if the B's are going to win more than 1 game in this serie.

one of them should win the Conn Smythe Trophy.
