I was really impressed with Thornton. Thought he was going to be a dud playing injured. He had to shy away a little bit from the physical aspect but still had his team right in there. Wasn't his fault the Canucks were the better team, plain and simple, same as the Hawks last year.
I think a gold medal is something though? Could just be my bias.

Sharks are a strong team and will have a chance to go deep in the playoffs again next year.
They need to develop some better defensemen and they should be fine.
With young players like Couture and Pavelski, they have a bright future.
