No excuse for a keeper to allow a goal with 10 seconds left in regulation. It was Luongo vs Niemi that was the series, and ofcourse niemi allows the gamie tieing goal then the winning goal.

Thats a tough play, most players on the ice didnt see that puck.
Tough break, but SJ was benefiting from horseshit goals all game long, they didnt deserve to win this game or this series.
Sharks are choke artists, guys like Marleau and Heatley and Thornton love to disappear when the game is on the line. Cowards...
It's the goalie's job to keep their eye on the puck at all times, if you ever played hockey or played nets you would know Niemi played like a dipsh-t tonight +Vans goals were legit, Thornton is a great player but he is forgettable.

this game never should have went beyond regulation, the sharks got robbed
Niemi allowed 2 goals in the must clutch position ever. Luongo was stopping everything. Argue

Not Niemi's fault at all. That was a fluke goal, no one knew where the fcuk the puck was. I didn't even know wtf was going on. The reason the Sharks lost was because of guys like Heatley, Clowe and Pavelski shitting the bed all series long. If those guys score like they should the Sharks would probably be up 3-2 or have the series won possibly right now.

I am far more shocked at the goal allowed at 19:50 in the 3rd period...
Niemi knows it's a tipper and he sets up to save the shot. Inexcuseable play as a hockey fan. I am happy that Van won but not the way they won.

Yeah that was a bit of a weird one he seemed unprepared for it. I'll have to see the replay again I was too excited to really watch at the time. Unbelievable win by the Nucks though they got outplayed badly for the majority of the game but that's how playoff hockey goes sometimes.

Niemi is a good goalie, and unlike Luongo, has won a Stanley Cup.

it was a vintage sharks game, losing in the most unbelievable fashion, though the refs did botch the obvious icing call at the end of regulation that gave the canucks a chance. canucks win the cup easy now vs either boston or tampa bay

when a team is destined to win the cup they get all the bounces going in their favor.

If anything Niemi gave the Sharks all the chance to win this game and series. Luongo is getting the job done but he looks so uncomfortable-totally would rather be anywhere than on the ice. Got to say with VAN- through injuries/goalie troubles/horse-faced flashers they have come through...Cheers

no way you can blame niemi at all on that winning goal.... watching it live i had no idea how that went in ...on replay only one shark player had a clue where it was with a couple sharks players pointing into the netting and another pointing behind the net no wonder neimei looked there for the puck....
one of the strangest winners ive ever seen
as for luongo saved 52 of 54... cant be much better than that...
guy sure gets alot of hate for his calibre of play
and im glad all the sedins are pussies talk and cant deliver in playoffs has ended
everytime they were on the ice yesterday they were dangerous
and as for thorton being a coward...lead sharks in ice time and shots in the game all with a separted shoulder.... doesnt sound like a weak player to me

WTF? What's so inexcusable about it as a hockey fan? It's sports and it's only your perception that makes a goal with a few seconds left seem more shocking than a goal in the first few seconds of a period or any other time in the game. They all count the same. Ya it's more exciting perhaps because of the time you already invested in watching it. No different that a last second field goal or 4th down lunge over the goal line.
The puck was deflected and went in. It's that simple. Canucks put the pressure on and got lucky. Move on.
