I really like them to win in regulation, just wondering your thoughts on this matchup?

I'm afraid Tampa have caused a doubt in their minds. I don't know if they can bounce back quick, or if they are going to play nervously.

I like Tampa Bay to win the serie 1.6

If tampa keeps playing like they have the last 8 games I am not sure anyone can beat them.

I agree, tampa is playing almost perfect hockey. Bruins need to score first, but even that didn't seem to matter vs Caps

tampa has won 8 straight games and are +140, how you can bet against those odds is all but a guess and due theory. under seems better to me.

cant take too much from the first game, bruins had a 2 minute meltdown that cost them the game. i know regular season isnt the same as playoffs but it shows bolts dont have bruins number. on the other hand if bruins dont wake up their powerplay, this series may be over pretty quick

NO. Until Bergeron comes back, TB is the play. Power play isnt gonna wake up, Savard was the powerplay.

I agree with TB moneyline again. There are bound to be short let-downs in any hockey game and against the Lightning offense even the smallest of windows will lead to disaster.

Im from Boston and TB does scare me , it just seems too many things need to go right in order for the B's to win. Bergy is a huge loss that cant be overstated. i dont need to tell anyone that O does not come easy to the B's ... at all. If the B's lose a 37 , 33 , 46 , lets say for the year. Their fighting for a 6-7th seed and one/done in the playoffs. The value of these guys are more more important imho than say if San Jose , Van , Det lose someone. Those teams would still be able to make a decent run. The B's need everyone to be at the top of their game for them to make a serious run at the cup

I want to know if Bergeron will be back before pulling the trigger. When a guy like him comes back, it's a source of motivation for the team.

bergeron is a game time decision.
I am going to bet boston in regulation +115.

they won't lose, mark my words.
but they might win in overtime, I am willing to risk it to boost my odds.

                                    cheers

tampa was very convincing in game 1. boston has got to find a way to score on the power play if they want to advance.

Good points. In the Montreal series Bergeron was the only one with any imagination with the puck, all the other bruins , no matter what they did, it most often amounted to nothing. Bergeron was the only regular threat.

I seriously doubt Bergeron will be back anytime soon although I haven't checked on any of the updates. People have learned a lot about concussions and whatnot in the last ten years plus. He could come back early but I'm sure a player like Lindros can tell you how that worked out when Stevens asked him how the brain was feeling...Cheers

Roloson didn't play against the bruins in any of their regular season match ups. So that regular season argument is a wash. 5-2 sample size in the playoffs is a pretty good indication of how well the bruins match up now, and if thomas didn't stand on his head the whole game it could've been much worse.

Even if Burgeron comes back today and plays, it will not make a difference. He will not play 25-28 min..He will be lucky to play 5 at most. Why would Boston risk putting him on ice for even 5 min when there is a huge risk of getting smacked again. You know Tampa will be aiming for him. It's playoff hockey..all gloves are off. So Burgeron or no Burgeron...It won't matter,if Boston wants to win they have to play more physical hockey and totally punish Tampa's smaller, quicker players..They can not let them stand in front of the net especially during Tampa's potent POWER PLAY that's on fire right now and clicking on all cylinders..I agree with most people here..TAMPA is younger ..faster and wants it more..Yezerman put together a hell of a team. Tampa tonight and 4-1 in the relatively easy series...
                                                          Good luck everyone!!!

Tampa Bay will win tonight and will ultimately win this series. They have everything going for them. Power play, Penalty kill, they're scoring the most goals in the playoffs, their goaltending is solid and they have one hell of a winning streak.

Refs basically said the fifth goal was too controversial thus the penalty for being smashed into the net/Thomas. "Okay stripes, you decide what the score will be and let me know..." My wager was obviously on TB but relatively minor, it's more the lack of integrity I don't like. Cheers
