Almost everything goes OVER in NHL playoffs???
I never followed this angle in other years, but seems to me that this year at least 75% of all games in the playoffs are going OVER... which is crazy.
One betting blindly the OVERs in all playoff games would be making very nice cash until now.

    My question is:
Any of you guys observed in other seasons this same tendency for the OVERs in the playoffs... or it's just an anomaly for this year?

You sure it's 75%?? I have a hard time believing that. I would say it's closer to 50% if that... Maybe we were watching different games ?

      Round 1 49 games

      over - 27
      under - 22

      Round 2 17 games

      over - 11
      under - 6

66 games played so far with 38 overs and 28 unders.

      over = 57.58% under = 42.42%

            Nice work!

So it's not even close to 75%, but at 57.6% it's still very nice (plus the line on the overs was mostly like +100 - +115, at least in this second round).

I doubt you would be in profit over the course of the playoffs if your strategy was to just blindly bet overs in every game.

A lot of the lines have been 5 instead of 5.5 as well due to the number of unders early on, so that obviously affects the numbers also.

I don't know the exact numbers but betting the unders in game one of round one and two has been a profitable strategy. Teams play tight in the first game of a series usually, no team wants to be down 1-0

over is the play -> About 2,010,000,000 results (0.15 seconds)
under is the play -> About 921,000,000 results (0.16 seconds)

Look at the stats for elimination vs. non-elimination games. Unders hit stronger in non-elim games, overs hit strong in elimination games. That's the stat to watch.
