Anyone betting on IIHF games tomorrow?

I'm leaning Germany +1 (+100) vs Finland & Canada -1.5 (-115) vs USA

If i had to pick the other two games i'd go Slovakia +.5 in regulation time Vs Czech & France +3.5 vs. Sweden

I don't think Germany is a fluke & Finland has a hard time scoring goals. U.S. always seems to underachieve here & Canada has looked the best along with the Czech's. Slovakia has their backs up against the wall against their big rivals & in front of the home crowd. I think they at least get this to O.T. Sweden is a little weaker than usual this year & while France isn't good at all their 9-1 loss to Canada is a bit misleading. They collapsed that game, but aren't that bad defensively. I put a future bet on the Czech's & Germany to win the tourney yesterday. Got the Czech's at +425 & Gremans at +3000. I'm hoping the Germans get to the semis again this year & if so i will hedge. GL

Canada for sure, and the over.

US will get one or two, but their defense and goaltending are average at best.

Canada will light us up, unfortunately.

Germany is no fluke, and for that price, it's worth a shot.

Sweden will hang 5-6 on France easy, and they won't allow more than one.

US goaltending isn't "average" at best. Montoya and Conklin both have the ability to play great games, but that isn't going to stop me from laying it CAN ML. The US offense is pretty putrid. They have a solid D, but that's about it.

I do agree with taking a chance on GER though. Taking them on the ML and something smaller on a draw is worth the shot. I did the same with NOR at GREAT odds and made a nice profit on that game. FIN always do well on international ice, but they are not littered with NHL talent whatsoever.

The best bet I like is CZE ML. They always do well in these kind of tournaments and they have a wealth of NHL/pro talent. Out of all the international teams, they also have the best chemistry with each other.

To me there is a small fortune to be made in this tournament as the books don't seem to have the 1st clue how to price anybody other than CAN or RUS.

I'm really liking the over 5.5 in CAN vs USA. 2 of Canada's 3 games thus far have gone over, and all 3 of USA's games have gone over. I think this is the best value bet to make. There's not much to win by taking Canada ML. Nonetheless, GL to everyone!

One more thing, Remember remier with the leafs. When he had a bad game, I think he always bounced back and was stellar the next game. He let some crap goals in aganist the swiss...

Always put something smaller on a draw to cover your ML bets. I bet GER ML, but the draw saved me from a loss. The odds are great for a draw so it's a good way to hedge.

CAN not winning in regulation was complete garbage though. Reimer is overrated, but with a 50-20 shot advantage you'd think it wouldn't matter...
