I figured Caps would have some pride to avoid the sweep, I still like Lightning to go far.

Its funny how everyone will label the Caps as playoff duds and guys like Ovechkin and Backstrom will take some serious heat.

But people fail to realize that the Caps were -200 to win the series, those are pretty good odds to start a 2nd round series.

All you can do is build a team that will be favored in the playoffs and hope you win.

If you lose, something is wrong with the team, change is needed.

But if you win, the team was great and playoff ready, etc.

The Caps won this series when books gave them -200 to win the series, the result is just a matter of chance.
