Swiss beat Canada last year but this is a much improved Canadian team who by their own admission underestimated the Swiss last year. Don't expect them to make the same mistake twice. Swiss narrowly escaped France 1-0 in OT while Canada gave France a beat down 9-1.

Sorry for the loss, guys. The Swiss hockey league has improved greatly in recent years. Of course it´s nowhere near Canada, but it still can´t be compared to the French... it´s not the same league, it´s not even the same sport

my only comparison between the swiss and french was: Swiss vs France 1-0, Canada vs France 9-1

shots were like 60-25 for Canada....I have no explanation for this outcome

I see... well, I haven´t seen the game, but it´s obvious that Canada took it lightly and underestimated them. Look at the Germans fookin over with Russia and Slovaks. Or they just didn´t have their day... anyway, I know this one hurts... I would have taken even -2.5 myself, had I been near the pc at the time. You´ll get it back, the tournament has only just begun...
