Playing a hunch. Both teams have been solid. No host team has won this tournament since 1986. Russia was the host last year and finished 3rd, Canada won. So that should act as motivation. This should be a game that is decided by a goal either way so I am playing the value. Russia hasnt won the tournament since 2002. These teams havent faced each other in the worlds with Gold on the line since 1959, a game Canada won. Canada hasnt lost in tourney play since 2006, when they lost the bronze to Finland. Both teams are stacked with NHL talent, but Russia has more gamebreakers. If Canada wins I wouldnt be surprised, but if they are to lose to a team to break there winning streak, this would be the team.Comment -

I havent really looked ahead at tomorrows games, so I cant really say what I like yet. Should be two great games. My initial lean on the Stars game is the Wings to win, but that may change.Comment -

Even the best teams in hockey have hiccups. the Wings had a stretch in theregular season where they went 0-3, and a stretch where they went 1-10, the only stretches out of 82 games and 15 playoff games where they lost more than 2. The Wings are 33-35 all time in game 5, and have failed to clinch a playoff series at home since 2002. So it may not be a bad thing to win on the road in game 6, even if it means losing and risking a game 7. The loss of Franzen has been huge as he has been there secondary scoring, but I expect a better effort. The Wings are one of two teams to lose 3-0 series leads(1942), with the others being the Islanders, and they would not want to be the only team to do it twice. Win game 6 as game 7 is a crap-shoot.Comment -

Dont let me fade you from your play, if you like Dallas, take them. 50/50 that they win, right? There are tons of ways to make money in the NHL, but the best way to lose money is to take the wrong side, especially with high juice. I already have a team that I will be playing on in October next season that I believe will lead to a nice start.Comment -
