My last year of playing organized minor hockey in Ontario I was one of 3 over agers on the team during my first year of college. We were in the OMHA (ontario minor hockey association) semi final. In game 4 we were down 3-1 with 1 minute left in the game. We scored with 30 sec left to make it 3-2. With 10 seconds left in the game there was a huge scramble for the puck in their goal crease and one of their defense man put his hand on the puck in the crease for a penalty shot. We scored and the game was tied with 10 seconds left. I won the face off (which I hardly ever do) and our defense man flipped the puck up to our winger splitting the defense and got a breakaway goal for the win with 1.2 seconds left in the game. Their bench cleared and a huge brawl ensued including one of their players taking swings at a ref. It was mayhem. That is one of my fondest hockey memories.
