    Anaheim Ducks Going Deep
Everyone is overlooking the Ducks to go deep in the West. Everyone in this forum is all over Nashville to beat the Ducks 1st round. Nashville is a great defensive team with a great goalie, but they simply cannot score enough to win this series. With a little bit of goaltending, the Ducks with go far. The Ducks are a physical team built for the playoffs with the best line in Hockey. Everyone says their defense is suspect, but its actually very solid. The series price is around -150 right now which is a great value and at +1500 to come out of the west in some books, I would jump all over that number.

I liked the Ducks til Hiller went down. The Ducks D is not strong but Hiller has the ability to steal games. Emery and Ellis can not fill Hiller's shoes.

Rinne might steal a game, but there is no way the Ducks lose 4 vs Nashville

This is a close series-I'm playing on making a few "game to OT" wagers with it. Cheers

If Hiller comes back I'd agree, but NSH are no pushovers. I went with the Preds this series.

For me if they had a healthy goalie I would have them going deep.

                          Anaheim isn't losing to Nashville...

Watching them this year...they will have trouble keeping up with an elite offense like the Ducks..

Nashville will go from 0-4 in the playoffs to 0-5. Ducks in 5.

You that confident in Emery? Nashville is a very pesky team and extremely frustrating to play against. Ducks had a hard time against them this year also.

Dan Ellis is starting, the Predators know him all to well, all his weak spots, and there are many.

That actually sounds like a solid bet to take. I expect many of the first games to go over except maybe for the Caps Rangers matchup

Dan Ellis is better than Emery IMO, Ducks played real good in front of Emery giving him such a good record but he leaves alot of fat rebounds in front.

Nashville 8.78 pims/game 2nd lowest in league...Ana 3rd ranked pp 23.5 % Nashville just wont give up that many opportunities for ANA to go to pp. Even strength I give big edge to Nashville and they seem to have a number of guys playing well going in. Hornquist, Legwand, Erat they just find ways to win.

they are really solid at home.

that flying v formation is really hard to deal with.

Anaheim will win. I really wouldn't be surprised if they caught a lot of people off guard and went deep. I will be playing Mighty Ducks clips to help them through.

THe Ducks just choked tonight. Rinne played amazing and stole a goal in the 1st period which would have shifted momentum. Dont give up on the Ducks yet though, Nashville is nothing special

So word is expect Emery Friday. Nobody can tell me his hip/whatever is full strength so suppose he brings up the goaltending slightly over Ellis. Looking objectively I think NSV is again the play even though I have some reservations thinking about ANA down 2-0 already. Cheers
