As a neutral fan I'd want nothing more than for this series to go 6-7 games. But I'm betting the Canucks would like to wrap this up in 5 games at home. Like I said already, its going to be a hell of a series and I cannot wait.

Stanley Cup Finals Futures

VAN -1.5 Games vs BOS (-113)

-Not a big fan of the straight series bet on the Nucks at -230+. Half price for the alternate series price and the only thing you don't get is the game 7 win. Most cup finals don't go to 7 games anyways and if the Nucks somehow lose (not happening) you limit your losses. The line in this series says it all.

Ryan Kesler to Win Conn Smythe (+150)

-If the Canucks win the cup it's a near certainty that Kesler wins the Conn Smythe. He single-handedly took out the Preds in round two and has shut down the oppositions top lines while scoring some clutch goals. The advantage he has over the Sedins and Lou is that he's been the only consistent guy through all three rounds. The only way I don't see this happening is if Henrik goes berserk in the finals (12+ points) or Lou pitches 2-3 shutouts.

Alternate series line? I don't think I have that with an online book. DG, so I don't have an alternate series line, but I can bet Canucks in 4 (+650), 5 (+300), or 6 (+400). Any opinion on the sweep? If I can eliminate one, then my profit margin goes way up. I would like to put $200 on 5 or 6 games. Please advise.

If you don't have the alternate series option I think putting $100 on Canucks in 5 and 6 works. You'd only make $100 or $200 profit though on your bets if they win. I hate betting knowing that one of your bets will lose no matter what but I think this is a good option if you can't bet the alternate series as it is essentially the same bet.

If it's only (+100) I wouldn't. (+130) or higher would be worth a shot. I like the 3 a lot more due to the push factor. Henrik doesn't shoot a ton I expect 2 shots out of him tonight plus a point minimum. Pretty good chance the over 3.5 hits as well. If the odds aren't particularly good I would probably pass on it.

Good point for the future. However, I adjusted my unit size accordingly when line does not go in favor.

I thought the B's were dogs when they played the Flyers...they're big, they hit and they roll 4 lines almost every game
