Tuesday Plays

BOS/MTL Over 5 (-102)
-The over is 3-0-2 at the Bell Centre this year including 2-0 in the playoffs. I don't know what it is about the Bell Centre but that place is just nuts and seems to bring out the best in both teams scorers as well as making the goalies nervous.

BUF (+146)
-The Sabres sound like they will be extra committed to their strength tonight which is relying on strong D and sound goaltending. I think they know this is their only shot at beating Philly because they don't have the firepower to go toe to toe with them. Getting their best player in Derek Roy back should provide an emotional boost as well. Ultimately I think this comes down to goaltending and I'll take Miller over Boucher.

CHI Over 2.5 (+104)
-Considering Chicago's history in Vancouver and against Luongo I don't see how I can not take this at +$. This should be a high scoring game tonight and I feel more confident in Chicago scoring 3 than them actually winning tonight.

CHI/VAN Over 1.5 (1st) (+101)
-Emotion will clearly be running high to start this one so I expect 2-3 goals in the 1st. The 1st period has hit in the last 3 games of this series and 4 of 6 overall. Good value on this at +$.

CHI/VAN Over 5.5 (+106)
-Looking back at elimination games for the Canucks at home they have gone way over the last two years vs the Hawks so again I think this has 4-3, 5-3 final written all over it.

that video on the officiating shows alot more missed ca lls than the ones i was thinking. refs dont work back to back games, right? because if game 7 gets overshadowed by bad calls or missed calls, i think there will be alot of unhappy vancouverites. listening to the radio yesterday, i forget who the interview was with on team 1040, but the question was asked if "even-ing out calls" exist. and it just so happened that kerry fraser was standing next to the guy being asked the question, so the guy refferred the question to kerry fraser. and he says "ohyeah, they do". so hopefully theres some of that in tonights game!

I'm not sure I like the Chicago Over 2.5, I'm taking Vancouver tonight. I think Vancouver destroys Chicago as a cause of young players on Chicago trying to do too much. At a certain point too much emotion is bad, the calm and collected win. A perfect example being the Detroit Red Wings and their winning history. Luongo is better than Crawford and I think he gets rid of his demons tonight. Big players step up in big games and it's about time the Sedin twins got on the score sheet in a big way. I'm taking Couver -1.5 (+175)

Wow that Video showed some pretty bad noncalls. . . especially the hit behind the net. . . thats worse thn raffi's hit. . . bieksa just has a harder head then seabrook. Seabrook was mainly blindsided in the body and alittle in the head but bieksa's was mostly in the head. Can't complain about that hooking call to go down 5 on 3 because he did spear him pretty good in the ribs so the call should have been spearing

Other than Game 1, Each Vancouver win has come by a 1 goal differential. Chicago creamed vancouver in games 4 and 5, and won by 1 goal in game 6. Not trying to be critical here but for you to dislike Chicago OVER 2.5 but then recommend Vancouver PL is a little crazy in my book. BOL but I think Vancouver -1.5 is very risky.

I definitely understand where you are coming from McDorman but I can't go against the most dominate team during the regular season by far especially in their first elimination game. I like Vancouver's roster better and Luongo over Crawford. I'm sticking with my bet! Didn't take anything in this Mon/Bos game but WOW that refs totally ****** that call up and Montreal got robbed of a goal. How can a ref blow a whistle on a call he can't see. If Mon loses by 1 you know that call is going to be blamed.
