I stayed away from this game. Detroit is not letting this go and are actively playing hockey. I want to Blackhawks to make it, but Detroit has screwed me too many times for me to bet on one of their games.

As a Canucks fan I'm not too sure what to cheer for. I was happy when the Hawks scored, but now I'm cheering for the Wings to pull the upset. Hmmm

Since when is Howard a legitimate netminder? Obviously we ALL want the Blackhawks to make it. I have a slowly growing disdain for the Redwings for punting games when I bet on them and the Blawkhawks were kind enough to deliver me money. Go Hawks!

Game is far from over but like I said yesterday and today. The team that gets to play "spoiler" is always huge dogs especially when the "must win" team is at home. If you take the spoiler in the right spot you can cash nicely. For example Tampa yesterday was a good bet but taking the Islanders weren't.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Stars blow their chance tonight against Minnesota if their given a chance in "win and we're in" position. Love this time of year for hockey!

I agree. Stars have been playing hard all month for that 8th spot in the West and I wouldn't be surprised if Minnesota plays their hearts out and beat them. It would be like a playoff game for the Wild and they would love nothing more then to screw up a teams playoff chances.

If Chicago ends up losing this game, my guess would be the Stars line would shoot up anywhere between -145 and -150. Then that would make me really start considering playing the Wild ML or maybe a Wild +.5 Regulation bet..game could go to OT.

I think everyone thought the wings were not gonna give it there all since they are locked in to the 3rd seed but i think they dont want Chi in the playoffs.

There the defending champs wheather there an 8 seed or not they will not go quietly in the playoffs if they make it

They won't be defending anything if they don't pull the lead out and go bonkers on the Redwings.

As you can see im a Wings fan and nothing would be better then to knock the defending champs out of the playoffs, and yes this is a playoff game to Chi.

Exactly BuckeyeT, whenever you have that chance to screw up a teams playoff chances you make the most of it. Especially when their a team in the same division like Chicago and Detroit are. This Rivalry has been around since the Original 6 teams and Detroit would love to knock them out.
