New York must win or get the matinee to overtime to have a chance to make the playoffs. The Rangers then need Carolina to collect fewer points in its game Saturday evening.

Surprising though, though I did expect the Rangers to come out fast and have them to "win" the first at +160. Happy about that goal now.

If the Rangers lose in regulation it becomes an absolute meaningless game.

Tampa will finish 5th in the East regardless of the result tonight and Carolina cannot move up from the 8th spot.

I'd definitely wait until the Rangers game is over to make a play on the Canes.

I know the canes are the right bet but that means my Rangers miss the playoffs, gonna watch this one and hopefully enjoy a rangers birth into the playoffs.
