Playoffs have been awful for me. I have never in my life lost on so many wagers when the team I pick has lost after having 2-3 goal leads.

I"m not going to write Dallas off yet. This is the game of the year for them. In game 1 if McCreary doesn't make that phantom roughing call to give Detroit the 5 on 3 at the start of the first period, which they scored on, it's a different game and maybe even a different series. Getting screwed that early just killed the stars energy. If Dallas can get a couple calls going their way early on and get the first goal they will win this game.....either that or Detroit sweeps them this series LOL but I think it's too early to say Dallas is out of this series; the goal for Dallas afterall was to split in Detroit and take back home ice, which they can do today.

Dallas should come out with a better effort in game 2. The last thing they want is to head home down 2 games. The value is there once again, so it would be worth the risk. Turco hasnt had a great deal of success in the motor city. Knowing that the Stars should come out flying, and not being confident that they can win, I will take the value offered on Dallas ML+155 to win the first period.

It appears as Dallas is playing a conservative "not to lose" style instead of taking risks that will lead to scoring chances. It worked against the Sharks because they were error prone.
It won't work against this quick, solid, Detroit team.

I don't know about anyone else but it is crystal clear to me that Detroit is far superior to the Stars in every category except goaltending. The Red Wings transition game is the best I've seen in a long time. IMHO any wager on Dallas is likely a loser.

As for Dallas not wanting to head home 0-2, thats true, its also true thet Detroit doesn't want to split the first two home games.

There is no doubt in my mind that Detroit is better either betplom, Osgood has been solid, not spectacular, but you dont have to be spectacular when the team in front of you is playing so well. I cant(especially after game 1) put my money on the Stars to win the game outright. Thats why I will play this game period by period.
