there's two ways you can look at the avs/oilers o/u of 5.5:

these two teams absolutely suck right now and neither have been able to put more than 2 in the net in their last 10 games (combined) or: 14 total goals in their last 10 games played.
gonna go under tonight?

or:

both teams have thrown in the towel defensively allowing 43 goals in their last 10 games combined. their history would lean towards an over tonight.
