Sorry, I was looking at matchups on coversexperts and they've got VAN @ -330 with COL about 300. Don't know if they're just projecting or what but their lines listed usually come out officially close to that point. Gotta think COL will get up to 320 or so.

+300 is definitely a huge value, but I don't see the Avalanche winning this. Colorado has been terrible lately and I don't see them magically bouncing back against a team that has gotten there against playoff worthy teams ( including 4 of the very same teams that beat the Avalanche during their losing streak). Vancouver does not want to give up it's winning streak, and certainly not to Colorado: a team that seems to be unable to win a game to save its life recently. I think the OVER is a solid bet.

Canucks should pound them. If you guys want to make a play on the Avs just take them in regulation or at +1.5, much safer. The Avs are probably pretty much under direction to tank it and get as high as a draft pick as possible. How else does the Anderson for Elliot trade make any sense

Yeah I've looked at it every way I can and can't come up with a rationale for taking COL straight up. Maybe reg time or +1.5-maybe. The payoff would be sweet though and anything can happen as they say.
