    Canucks/Wild 3/14
I was hit hard by the Ducks game and have been looking for a game to get back on track. It looks to me that the Canucks game tomorrow may just be it. While the juice is a bit high at -200, in some ways it feels a bit like a steal considering how well Vancouver has been playing. They have won their last 5 games against teams better than the Wild and are at home. Their stats are some of the best in the league as well. If anyone is playing like a Stanley Cup team, they are pretty much it. The only thing I worry about is now that they are virtually locked for the playoffs and really don't need the points, they may simply slack off and give the Wild a win.

    Thoughts?

Tough game to pick. -200 is pretty high juice for any team in the NHL where anything can happen....I like the Canucks to win but don't underestimate the Wild. Personally I have the over 5.5 goals in the Toronto Tampa game so I'm liking that more.
The Wild have alot more to play for too so don't underestimate that. Canucks coming off a big win against Calgary might be due for a letdown....

The playoff picture is causing things to be off kilter. Proceed cautiously.

maybe make a play on the team total. cuz this game could go either way. wild play a good forecheck game and almost always make a decent game against the nucks. also, canucks have a lot to play for, individually, and as a team. the sedins want to finish 1st and 2nd in scoring. and canucks want to finish first in the conference. not only that, but a few of the teams they have to play still are possible first or second round opponents, and so theyre going to wanna figure those teams out before the playoffs. i dont see the canucks letting up anytime soon. i definately wouldnt go big on this game especially when theres 10 games to pick from on tuesday

VAN in regulation is a good option. The puckline was my POD for DG's thread but that's always a bit iffy. VAN gives me the impression they're looking to smash teams (figuratively). I've been caught a few times this year figuring they were due for a let-down game against teams that had more to play for. I would probably bet on Koivu being out still for MIN and the loss of Clutterbuck is harsh. VAN will almost certainly start CS in net but he could be a starter on many teams (including MIN). As good a bet as any I would say. Cheers

Thanks-I've been a VAN trasher for years (although sometimes I must be secretive about it as I live near VAN city) and I can't find any real holes in their team-either player-wise or in given situations. I do respect MIN and their roadworthiness/toughness despite the cheaper than dirt budget they work with but there's a limit...Cheers

Game's not nearly over but hopefully you're on your way to recouping your losses.

Just caught a bit of the game live and noticed Clutters and Koivu playing...Dohhh. Good for the Wild people and they're good players so I'm glad they're back healthy anyways.

Wow how close of a finish was that for the -1.5 VAN. Poetic for Kesler. Cheers

I wish I would have juiced it as hard as I was going to, but I did put all I had left on my account onto it. I realized that the Canucks are playing the Avalanche on Wens.
