Easy enough to figure out using info on NHL.com. A little time consuming but very easy.

So if it's so easy to figure out, what is it?

Going to have to just bite the bullet and spend the time to get that number yourself I'm afraid.

Also I would NEVER just blindly accept a number that some random person on a message board tells me to be correct. It's always better to do the work yourself and I know for me personally I learn a hell of a lot more in the process.

There is too much variance to come up with a reliable "%" to this question. There are too many different empty-net scenerios....

I hadn't thought this was something so unusual... I figured it was a stat commonly known by frequent NHL bettors (I'm not one).

I'm not going to go into some heavy duty analysis, so let's switch this up and let me just ask you guys how often you THINK empty-net goals are scored in one-goal games.

My instinctive guess would be something like 20% of the time. Concur?

If you wanted a very rough historical figure I would say you are in the right ball park.

                Okay, thanks.

Obviously knowing this figure should be able to assist with live betting, as well as just in general. Like the other night, Canucks/Sharks, Canucks were up a goal in the third (midway through I think), and the price was great for a live VAN -1.5. I forget what it was, but it was somewhere around +205 or +210, like risking 120 to win 250, that type of thing.
