a few days ago i wacked a nice nhl 3 team parlay. 16/1 5 pts won me 80. took the 80 and played the ponies for a few days and did ok until: the gottdamn flyers/rags game. losing 3 straight i thought there was no way on gods green earth the fly boys-MY flyboyz were gonna drop 4 straight and lose to the lowly rags. split every pt i had between the flyers ml and flyers pl. well, as we all know they full out chit bed yesterday
ive quit all real $ sportsbook wagering since the flyers lost to the panthers (5-zip and i had "over 5.5") months ago not to mention the cc i used to fund bodog (and ONLY bodog) was hacked from china so no mo bodog for ol cecil
anyway- id like everyones opinion on whether or not the flyers drop 5 in a row or if they get their chit together and come out firing....gosh i hope its the latter.
anyway, ill take the consensus and bet my sbr's accordingly-shootin' for a freeplay at Bet Jam. if anyone could spare a few im not too proud to refuse them i promise not to wager todays 6 pts in hopes of a chunkier wager tomorrow.

the oilers are my team but they wont beat philly tomorrow. frankly i was surprised they beat up on the avs as much as they did. they are missing their top offensive talent in hemsky and hall. of course penner was just traded also. they have been weak all year on the backend too. im thinking of taking philly in regulation

I'm an OIL guy too Locke and I think I agree. Looked at the numbers and appreciate the rally they're putting together at this point of the season. Comparing them and the FLY I couldn't come down with a side. If I was forced to make a decision I would go with EDM (risky though wih injuries, depth, etc)simply for the line potential (it's like what 250 or so right now?) and that it's got to create a few doubts with PHI that they're jamming out rigt now (injuries accounted for). If it was me in your place Cecil I would watch the game at home (after scalping the tickets) and lay off entirely. If you take PHI and lose (paying the huge juice in some regard-regulation or whatever just shifts the money to risk) you'll go bezerk, if you take EDM and lose you'll feel like junk not taking your team. Best case is you'll earn relatively little cash in a high risk scenario. My opinion, do whatever the hell you like! Cheers

wow, way too much juice for me (and my whole 12-15 sbr pts) but i do know you've been killing it lately. ill sleep on it.

as for the game: seeing how edm really brings it in philly id feel a lot safer betting the oilers +1.5 for (-110) vs the flyers minus 1.5 for damn near the same odds. perhaps a play on the total is in order? firing from the hip id lean towards the over. your thoughts fellas?

as for scalping the tickets: if it wasnt a freebie on the shingle house i deal with id take your advice and spend my evening (and the loot) at the track i like the way you think though

edited to add: upon further investigation the total in tomorrows flyers game will be Under 5.5 and im feelin a nice parlay with the Blackhawks PL....anyone?

got to be honest...do not feel anything on the over/under in philly game, but love chicago here as well...Although, im really liking NJ to beat the crap out of Ottawa...I am going to wait for 5dimes to come out with their -0.5 regulation spread and bet the devils BIG tomorrow...In fact, i think New Jersey-1.5(-105) would be a helluva nice bet, maybe even stronger then chicago....except that Devils might dominate the whole game but only win 2-0 or so....lol...Its a tossup between chicago/devils(-1.5) but i still prefer NJ@home BET BIG!!!!MONEY TRAIN ROLLS HERE

back to the oilers/flyers tilt: Dubnyk has been on fire lately but those were 3 games vs lower tier teams and (its a big "AND"): he has yet to face the flyers.
with that said bobabooey has downright sucked lately and like Dubnyk, he too: has yet to face his opponent in his career.
so upon re-reviewing the preview im now leaning towards the over 5.5.
(this was my same angle when they lost to the panthers 5-0 before xmas)
