save is not the word.....hahaha i wuda been $600 down for the day, but instead i broke pretty much even( just $75 down)

today im betting a parlay....Carolina@tampa....carolina is within a striking distance of a playoff spot and in every game it went OVER....Tampa has been holding a 2-1 edge in a season series, butthese two still play twice more this season....I see a close one goal game, but OVER 5.5 is my pick here...For a second leg of the parlay im taking Vancouver -0.5 over Atlanta...Atlanta just played last night and had to travel from NY...They are going to be tired vs a rested Vancouver team, who not only are the bestteam in the leagues right now, but coming off of impressive win over the Wings and are poised to continue their hot play getting tuned for the playoffs....Atlanta has nothing to play for, so my parlay "lock" play is

1.Vancouver(-0.5) over Atlanta
2. over 5.5 in Tampa/Carolina game

other leans....under 5 in new jersey/pittsburgh, under 5.5 in wash/ottawa, and buffalo to sqeek by florida(buffalo need this win to have any chance of getting in to the playoffs)

im 33-4-3 after last night, but toronto and over parlay saved me from having a losing day.....Putting $300 parlay on my two games above, BOL

PS...I certainly understand that if i dont parlay my bet with either each other or any of my leans, i probably wont win as much money.But i havent decided how im going to play these picks yet...Im considering taking two,or maybe three parlays with each of my lock plays and one or two of the leans...

im thinking Calgary/over in carolina for 5 units and Detroit/philly for 1, and calgary/nashville/detroit for 1unit as well....But of course you guys can make up your own parlays or individual plays. In any case, Besyt of luck to all...THANX FOR CHECKING MY THREAD

I have never bet hockey a day in my life before but after seeing this thread and your record you really got me interested. Im an nba and nfl gambler , when i look at my book and the lines for hockey i see 2 different sections for the same game. For example for your calgary vs edmonton game i see one says regulation time only and the line is :
Regulation time only*
Flames -.5 -120 ML -120
Edmonton +.5 ML +100 ML +230
DRAW +275

The other section i guess it is including ot looks like this?
Flames -1.5 -165 ML -195
Edmonton +1.5 ML -195 ML +165

When he says Calgary -0.5 you should play Calgay -0.5 (to win in regulation time)
If he says Detroit (ML) you need to play the ML line ...
Flames -.5 -120 ML -120

IF he says Flames PL (puck line) you shall play the Flames -1.5
And if he says Edmonton PL (puck line) you shall picks Edmonton +1.5 ..

It's pretty simple.
