    Forsberg to Retire....Again!
LOL well he lasted a whole two games before deciding to hang them up again. A lot of people wasted their #1 waiver rank in Fantasy hockey pools I guess. Great player obviously but he is becoming the Brett Favre of hockey. I guess he decided Colorado is finished and doesn't have a shot at the playoffs.

Forsberg isn't the answer to that teams problems anyways. Duschene has struggled since the break, and they don't have depth at any position. They are a rebuilding team, don't know why they brought him back anyways.

I guess they figured he might give them the spark they needed to make a playoff push. It's a shame they really have fallen apart they looked great early in the year. This team will be a powerhouse in a few years though once all their young guys develop a bit more.

Strange decision on his part. Great player, seems like a good guy. To put MJ or Fors in the same ballpark as Favre is severely offensive though. Injuries were COL's demise I think. Cheers

It didn't help that he came back fat and out of shape. Wouldn't be surprised if he tried to come back next year after he has worked on his conditioning.

It also didnt help that he came back to a downward spiralling Avalanche and played over 17 minutes in each game after taking 2 years off from the nhl. Hopefully he doesnt use this second "retirement" as an excuse to pull a Favre and play with another team
