Colorado missed the postseason for the first time since moving to Colorado last season. They are back and so are some of their old stars including Peter Forsberg. This is not the same Forsberg that won championships in 1996 and 2001, or the same Avs. Forsberg is older and hobbled by a groin injury. Minnesota won their first division title and they will be motivated, looking to atone for a first-round exit last season. Colorado has always been very good at home but the road is a different story. 27-14 at home, they were just 17-24 on the road this season, scoring just 2.5 goals per game. Minnesota's defense was awesome all season at home (2.2 goals per game allowed).

Sharks are by far the superior team, Kipper was the only reason game 2 was close. San Jose knows how important game 3 is to gain back home ice, plus they were lights out on the road all year. I can see Calgary keeping it close but in the end Sharks will win.

They were inviting action to Calgary. Look at 2/7 seed playoff history on a 1-1 series. Strong numbers there pointed to SJ.

Gotta remember, even the worst teams win at around a 40% clip. At home that goes up. If they have won more than they lost in the last 5 games, and your getting their ace(or both, as the starting pitching is great at 1/2 in their rotation) at a price of -115 or better, you may want to lean their way.
