It's the right play, the Pens winning streak is snapped.

The more the line moves in the Caps' favour, the more tempted I am to try a small bet on Pittsburgh because you can't forget how good a team they are, they are more reliable than Washington this season and I don't know if Washington will win two very big games in a row. Don't forget Pittsburgh coped very well without Malkin so it may not be that big a blow although it's a bit of a downer for the team I expect.

A defensive approach from the visitors could frustrate and stifle the likes of Ovechkin and co. and I can see Pittsburgh grinding out a closely fought win but on the other hand if there are plenty of goals it would probably favour Washington as Pittsburgh won't have the playmaking of Crosby and Malkin....then again, the Caps' defense has hardly been infallible this season...one to think about but I'm leaning towards a unit or two on the Pens - very decent value imo.

The loss of Malkin is doing this. I dont necessarily agree with it. Is Semin back yet?

I can get around +140 on the Pens right now, does anyone think it will get even bigger before puck drop or will the line stay stable from now?

Pinny's been in the low 140's the last bit.

I like the Caps at home to have a big game. -1.5 +198
