I Hate Hockey, this is why...
I'm done trying to bet this sport. Had the Coyotes tonight who lost terribly after going up 3-0 than losing on a shorthanded PP goal. I can never win. And totals are even more frustrating (just reference my Capitals OVER thread)

I do great in every other sport, especially NFL and MLB. College I'm ok. Hockey I'm terrible. I don't bet it every night, maybe 10 or so times a year for the last few years. I think my lifetime record is around 5-25, or somewhere in that range.

So this is Goodbye, you will not see me post in this forum again. The losing has actually made me DETEST the sport. It's just too much of a crapshoot for me.

Tough bro, it pains me to even know others on here got shafted too. I'm telling u, hockey is a curse to me. I never even lose like a regular loser, it's always blown leads or fluky type of loses. It's sickening and that's why I need to walk away, it's becoming unhealthy for me and like I said making me H A T E an otherwise fun sport for most.

that game was straight up pathetic... i hate when teams sit on a 2-3 goal lead and think the game is over. I don't usually get too upset after losing a bet but that game drove me insane, nothing but pathetic.

The key in hockey is you key in on spot underdogs. With the shootout (50/50) if you have a big favorite and the game goes to overtime you're getting negative EV just like that. Look at all the dogs that got the job done in OT yesterday. Also streaks are important. In hockey (unlike the NBA) when a team gets hot (or cold) they tend to stay that way for a while. In the NBA teams play when they feel like it but hockey players generally gives much more consistent effort, so if you're backing a hot team or fading a cold one it's more predictable.
