I have been a hockey fanatic ever since I was a kid. I am from Montreal and a die hard habs fan. I have been betting on hockey for a little over a month and with my knowledge I have been very successful. Therefore, I have decided to create my own nhl thread. My record this year is 20-13 +20.7 units. I play on pinnacle and therefore my picks will be based on odds from pinny.

Auld starting is key but there are other factors to consider... I am high on florida not losing in regulation cuz 6 of their last 10 went to ot. Also, Vokoun has been hot lately.

The fact that the panthers are coming off a shootout loss combined with mtl coming off a shootout win is also a key situational factor.

Well to my knowledge hockey night in canada comes on saturdays and usually features 2 back to back canadian hockey games. I love Don Cherry though

So how does this give the Panthers the edge? Care to elaborate.

In this situation the Panthers would be the hungrier hockey team as they are coming off a loss. You can argue that the habs will be riding off momentum from last night but in all fairness the caps are slumping. Obviously the vokoun vs auld factor is what drove the line down 30 cents.

I am on the cats but I put 3 units for them to not lose in regulation, meaning that habs can win this in ot and we still cash

I hope this is the outcome as I am a habs fan hehe

Florida v Montreal is just too hard to judge for me. Both teams have been up and down this year. If I had to pick I personally would go with the Habs... but that is probably a good sign for you?
