Devils Fliers Tonight 4/4 ... Thoughts....

Okay I never write up anything besides my plays in the best bets daily thread. But heres what I came up with with the devils flyers game for tonight ( 4/4 ). Anyone want to chime in please do.

Devils/ Flyers

Out of the 7 meetings between these 2 teams this year the score was 5 or less in 2 of those. 1 a win at home ( 3-0 ), for the devils, the other a loss away ( 0-4 ). They ( devils ) have outscored phil 29-16 in those 7 games. In 4 of those games devils won by more then 2 goals at home 3-0, 4-2, 4-1, 7-3, 6-2 The Devils....

Devils in their last 30 games ( from Feb. 1st on ) have gone 18-12, with 10 of those 18 being home wins ( 5 regulation wins, 3 overtime wins, and 2 shootout wins). Again out scoring their opponents 92-73.

Now as for the Fliers.......

The Flyers in their last 31 games ( from Jan 31st on ) have gone 12-19, with only 3 of those wins being on the road. As well in those 31 games they have been out scored 92-79.

Take into account
The above is only based on the last 30 and 31 games of each team. Not seeing anyone on the injuries list for either team.


Why ?
Why is the Devils Puckline +1 1/2 why are they +140. Shouldnt this card be flipped? What am I missing?

Im occasionally wrong but i think PHILI will win this one Jersey has been so bad lately. I wonder if they'll even score.

Hmm... See the Devils need this win badly. Cause Sunday they play the Rangers which they have lost all 7 games to this season. They win tonight they lock 4th if rangers lose. If Devils lose and Rangers win they play sunday for 4th. Devils arent going to let this one slip by, they havent been able to figure out how to beat the rangers this season so they need this win more then anything. But on the other hand Flyers are still playing for a playoff spot.

Do u really wanna go with jersey when they havent won a game in regualation in a while?? Phili will play way harder then Jersey. Jersey was lucky to walk away with a win at home against Phil. I dont think Phili will trail once in this game.

Which is why I posted the thread, but then pulled the trigger and placed the bets. Wasnt saying broduer can bail them out everyday. Just trying to back up why I placed the bet I did to get feedback. Usually dont post them so I could go into things blindly. Id rather now post my thoughts and get feedback and lose then to wonder what someone elses thoughts were before the game. Still learning my way here.

By the way I now have a deep hate for Calgary. Didn't really know they didnt care about winning the division. Cause that effort they put forth yesterday was below mediocre.

Yea, I agree. Yesterday we were opposite. And skated back and forth as to why we picked the teams we did,as we are tonght, last night I won. Tonight you your view is just as strong, which I dont like cause of your track record. But how about tomorrow we are on the same side? Cause I like the amount of units youve won over mine any day.

Kings screwed me last night bet 50 on a parley that had the under and they score with 4 seconds left. Oh well thats in the past right.

Was supposed to go to the movies with the girl but of course shes not ready to go yet so going to the 1015 movie. So now I get to watch the game.

Heres what I have that involves this game:

Devils ML for 300 pays 435
The Over for 200 risking 280

I then have the Devils ML and the Over in a parley for 100 that pays 320

I have Ottawa and the OVER along with Devils and the Over for 100 paying 1306.
and have Ottawa ML for 300 risking 420.

And on a side note the flyers just scored.

LOL. I took a shower during the break and trying to find something on tv. Just came to the comp now and listening to the game now. Yea this game is def going under. Blah. And not the team I want either to win. So yea. Not going to be a good turn out for me today.
