Buffalo vs. Senators
the road team has won the last 7 meetings between these two teams.
Buffalo is the better team (statistically) with the better goalie, and Ottawa just announced publicly that they are planning on relieving their GM of his duties at the end of the year, moving him into a "Senior Advisory Role". They will more than likely hire a new GM who will subsequently hire a new coach. They also said they may officially start trading veteran players to open up space to rebuild the team. Basically, the only veteran player they said they wouldn't trade is Spezza (Players who could find themselves on the market include, Jarrko Ruutu, Filip Kuba, Alex Kovalev, Sergei Gonchar and Chris Phillips) Ottawa is also last in the league in goal differential with a -51.
Buffalo has 49 points and finds themselves 6 points out of the playoffs, but they have 3 games in hand on Atlanta (8). The Senators have 41 points, and currently sit 13th in the Eastern Conference.
Brian Elliot has been stellar against the Buffalo Sabres this year with a .96 gaa and a .970 save%, while Ryan Miller has posted a 1.55 gaa and a .930 save% in 3 starts vs Ottawa

Not sure the Flyers lose tonight... why? About three weeks ago the Flyers played Florida right before a 7 day break and got crushed... They learned a tough lesson and will be ready to play tonight.. Flyers win this game..Comment -
