I am not sure yet if Florida is the play, but I definitely like the Blackhawks as a dog. Although I´ve been quite fond of the Blues in the last couple of years, and despite the fact they destroyed the Ducks in their last game, I don´t think they are being favored rightly today.

I don't think I'm playing anything today, dogs included.

Pittsburgh is tempting at +115 with my book, because those odds on the Pens as a home dog are invariably too good to turn down, but the Caps are rightfully faves for that game I think. The Pens' Cup chances have been ruined by their injuries and of course in particular Crosby and Malkin, two of the best in the league. So ultimately it's the Caps' game to lose tonight..

Yeah, I lean to the Pens too, but no play for me. I´ll just make a 1 unit play on the Blackhawks for some hockey action. But I tend to suck on days like today with only 3 games on board. No need to push it since it´s only Monday

I was a little worried being down 2-0 after the first, but fortunately they came back to dominate in the second. And + 112 I got at Pinny makes this win even sweeter. That´s it for me for today.

To be honest, this is exactly the type of night when I feel tempted to take all the dogs (except Edmonton). I originally liked Boston, but now that red hot Calgary has become a home dog, I´m not gonna touch it. Also considering the Isles and Habs

Can´t help it, I could either play all dogs or stay away. I choose the latter. My only play tonight is Dallas, 1 unit. I know this isn´t by far the strongest bet on the board. It is hard to go against the Devils right now. But the Stars could snap their losing streak at home. I also feel tempted to take the Avalanche and Habs for half a unit each... but they are not to be trusted...Anyway, have fun and GL with whatever you play!

Fair enough Dharma, your self-discipline is good and will probably save you money in the long run. It is indeed very important to avoid temptation and just bet on every game, because the chances are you're gonna get burned doing that all the time.....though sometimes, you can get lucky and win all your plays!

I put my 7pm game plays in my thread.

The dogs are Rangers and Isles. Looking at the later games now. Probably have a unit on the Sharks in the next game coming up.

Don't like either of those dogs, even though the Rangers are up 1-0. Can't see the Isles coming back down 1-0 either. Edmonton, Nashville, and Colorado are my dogs.

GL, Jonnyboy! I originally liked the Rangers a lot, but if I took them, I would have to make three of four other bets as well. So it´s probably better this way. I´m not gonna be around during the games this week as I have plenty of other stuff to bet live and hopefully also do some trading. I am very curious about tonight´s results. Again, gl everyone

Don't like Colorado, though you can never say never in hockey! I'm looking at Edmonton also now. I passed on the game in Columbus.

With regards to the New York plays, the Rangers played a good 1st period so I'm hopeful that they'll get the lead again. The Isles were not so good in the 1st but it's only a 1 goal lead, so they're still very much in it.

Thanks! Yeah, I get you, but then again, you don't "have" to make a certain amount of plays! You can limit yourself to one or two or whatever

Yes, I trade mostly on Betfair. Sometimes I use this term when refering to "sure bets" between other sportsbooks as well, so that I don´t have to explain what arbitrage is...

GL with the Pens, I was gonna take them but didn't get home in time to play it, so for tonight i'm just gonna go for Detroit (-0.5) and Detroit PL at nice + money odds. It's gonna be 7 in a row for the Wings on the road. The only way Anaheim would win this is with Hiller in net and they have Ellis instead starting tonight who simply isn't gonna be good enough to stop the Detroit forwards imo.

Love the St. Louis play as well, I'm on it! I think the new-look Caps will take time to find fluidity and it could be another unconvincing performance from them. The Isles were unfortunate to go down, I think the Blues will get it done. They have to really, it's desperate times now if they want to make a playoff push!

I was very disappointed in them. They had the lead twice, and ended up blowing it. Their playoff hopes are pretty much done now, too.

This is what makes the difference between good teams and bad teams... mentality. Dogs playing top, elite teams often take the lead, but aren´t able to hold it. Problem is not in quality, but in their heads and minds "oh my God, are we really gonna beat the Caps at home? Nah, of course not.. that´s what we thought from the very beginning, we came here to lose..." What can you do with it? Just keep trying to find dogs that aren´t gonna shit their pants
